December 2,1867. 451 TO CONTRACTORS, mHE TELEGRAPH COMMISSIONER is JL prepared to receive tenders for the erectiod and maintenance of a Line of Telegraph I between Napier and Porangahau, both in the Province of Hawke's Bay. Tenders to state separately the price per mile for erection, and the price for the maintenance of the line for twelve calendar months, Every tender muat be accompanied by a deposit of twenty-five pounds Bterling as a guarantee of good faith, which deposit will be forfeited by any tenderer if, in the event of his tender being accepted, he refuses to take up the contract. Each tender must inolude the names of two sureties for approval, who are willing to be» come bound for the due performance of the work in the event of the tender beiDg accepted.
