Tenders to state separately the price per mile for erection, and the price for the maintenance of the line for twelve calendar months, Every tender muat be accompanied by a deposit of twenty-five pounds Bterling as a guarantee of good faith, which deposit will be forfeited by any tenderer if, in the event of his tender being accepted, he refuses to take up the contract.
