A reference to our other columns will shew that very little space is left at our own disposal.- The Toll-gate question has engaged much attention, both in 'and but of the Council; but it is not one upon which we, as journalists, care to express any decided opinion. Reports of. Council proceedings and of two publio meetings that have been held on the subject, will be found elsewhere. The general business of the Council has not yet assumed an aspect of importance. .
