He was bred by Messrs. Forrest, Trees* banks, Lanarkshire, out of their flrst-'dlasa mare. He is by Campsie, who is acknow*J lodged to be the finest horse in Scotland, of the present day, never having been beaten at any^ show. Prince Arthur, when a 2-year old,' gained the second premium for the County of Dumbarton in 1865 ; also second at the Johnstone Open Show; also second at the Highland Society's Show, held at Inverness in 1865. He will stand at the Mata Firo Station, and serve at £6 for single mares, and £4 10s. each for two or more the property of same owner. He will be led out to his mares, which will in every instanoe be hobbled, and any that should not prove in foal will be served next season at half price, Every possible care will be taken of the mares,' but no responsibility incurred.
