Artesian Well in Wellington. — We observe that our enterprising townsman Mr. Edmeades is having an artesian well put down at his brewery, Tory-street, Te Aro. The bore is already down 150 feet, and an excellent sample of water has been obtained, but not in sufficient quantity to guarantee a constant supply. The pipe used is two and a half inches in diameter. — " Evening Post," July 1.
