NAPIER STOCK MARKET.
Smith, Peacock, & Co., report as follows :— We have to report a decided improvement in the oattle market. We have sold two mobs privately ; and, at our market sale on the 21st., had good competition, particularly for young stock. Yearling calves were sold at 60s. a head. Horses are somewhat in demand. We have disposed of several privately, at fair prices. Meanee, May 24, 1867.
