The Waikoa Meeting. — Ifc is understood that His Honor the Superintendent, accompanied by several gentlemen, will start for Wairoa, overland, this day. The Fiking, yesterday, was beneath mediocrity, the weather having been wet and generally unfavourable. One of the ranges has still to be fired at. Yesterday, for the two ranges, the highest score was — J. G. Blake, 31. Accident. — Yesterday evening, on the Spit, a child named Evans was run over by one of the Albert cars. We have not heard the extent of the injuries sustained.
