! Election Notices. Election Notice. IN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New. Zealand, intituled "The Regulation of Eleotions Aot, 1858," I, William Henry Hunter, Returning Officer for the Eleotoral Distriot of Porangahau, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date the seventh day of February, 1867, issued under the hand of His Exoellenoy the Governor and the seal of the Colony of New Zealand, an election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as a member of the Provincial Council of the Pro*, vince of Hawke'u Bay for the said Eleotoral District j and that the nomination of candidates will take plaoe at Meßsrß. Hunter's wool shed, Porangahau, at noon on WEDNESDAY, the twentieth day of March next, and that the poll (if necessary) will be taken on THURSDAY, the twenty-first day of March next, and that I will deolare the result of the poll at five o'clock on the afternoon of the same day. S. Curling's wool shed, Te Kopanga, at noon on MONDAY, the eleventh day of Maroh next, and that the poll (if necessary) will be taken on SATURDAY, the sixteenth day of March next, and that I will declare the result of the poll on WEDNESDAY the twentieth.
