Government Notices, i Preliminary Notice. ; mHE following BLOCKS of LAND, chiefly "*• Agricultural, wil_.be offered for Sale by the Provincial Government : — 1. A Block at or near the entranoe to the 40-mile Bush, comprising about 5,000 acres. 2. A Block of 1200 acres at Table Capei 3. Suburban Allotments at the Ngaruroro Bridge. .".;"-.'' V 4. 500 aoreß of Agricultural Land, at Wai kare. 6. 800 acres of Rural Land at the Wairoa. 6. 400 acres of Bush Land at the Pohui. 7. Block oontaming 1905 acres of rich Agricultural Land, Bituated on the main line of road and in the centre of the Ahuriri Plains distant about 2 miles south of the Town of Havelook, and about 16 mileß from the Town of Napier. This Block is admirably adapted for agricultural purposes. 8. 4500 acres' of good Grazing Land' at Waikari. .-*••'• The size of the several allotments in each of the Blocks specified, from 1 to 6, and date of sale, will be duly notified in the Provincial Government Gazette. ALL PERSONS who may be desirous of bringing out Relations or Friendß— or Settlers who wish to bring out Shepherds, : Laborers, or Mechanics, to be selected by their correspondents in Great Britain and: Ireland, will be enabled to do so on the following terms. :1 Any householder or other person who shall by surety or otherwise give sufficient security for the repayment of passage money, shall be entitled, after signing promissory notes for ; the amount of suoh passage, to apply to the . Immigration Agent at Napier, giving; ; the name and address of the person or persons whom they desire to bring out, and on so doing, the Provincial Agent in London will be instructed to provide a passage to Napier, giving for each Immigrant at a rate not.exceeding £18 per adult. Promissory Notes for a like amount will also have to be given by intending Immigrants to the Provincial Agent in London. - If the person coming, or his Agent, acoepts ■ of a passage and refuses or neglects to avail thereof after notice has been given in writing that the vessel is to sail, the party so doing shall be liable to forfeit half of the passage i money! , , „ In the event of death on the voyage half only of the passage money shall be oharged. The passage money is advanoed in the first instanoe by the Provincial Government, subject to repayment in four equal half-yearly instalments of £i 10s. eaoh, commencing from the date of arrival at Napier.
