Storm Bird ... ... ... 1 Musician 2 Viscount ... i ... 3 This was an easy race for Storm Bird ; three started. Time, 6 minutes 10^seconds. Jockey Club Handicap — IJ miles. Magenta 1 Black Boy 2 Scandal 3 This was a splendid race. Magenta was lifted in by Carter by a bare neck. Time, 2 minutes, 47 seconds. Railway Stakes— £ mile. Virginia 1 Traducer (gelding). 2 Presto ... 3 This event was won by half a neck and there was a splendid finish to it. Time, 53 seconds. Several events are postponed until to-morrow.
