The Taraipene got in yesterday, and the Hero sails, to-day for Mohaka and other places. I send you a report of the business at our Resident Magistrate's Court:— RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT, WAIROA. Fraser, Esq., R.M.) , Reed v. WJiakatolio. — Debt, £2 7s. 6d, Judgment for plaintiff through non-appear-ance of defendant. Tapnlii v. Maloohn.— Assault. Case dismissed. Wednesday, January 16, (Before S. Deighton, Esq., R,M.) WatiMni v. Rota and others.'- -Debt, £4, Judgment for plaintiff, with costs. Thursday, January 17. (Before S. Deighton, Esq., R.M.) Ferguson v. Waata. — Debt, £1 ss. Judgment by consent, with costs. Worgan v. Rumi,— Debt, £1 10s. Judgment by consent, with costs. Worgan v. Ptftora.-— Debt, 6s, Judgment by consent. Seeder v.
