MARSHALL, with a view to satisfy the desire whioh has been lately expressed for the establishment of a GRAMMAR SCHOOL in Napier, has engaged the services of a competent assistant, and begs leave to inform his friends and the publio that the School will re-open on MONDAY, the 28th of January, under the title of THE NAPIER GRAMMAR SCHOOL. The course of instruction in the Upper School will embrace Greek, Latin, Frenoh, Mathematics, Commercial Arithmetic and Bookkeeping, together with History, Geography, and the use of the Globes, and Pencil. a"nd Water-color Drawing. The boys in the lower School will be taught all the uaual branches of a sound English education, together with Pencil Drawing, and the rudiments of perspective. TERMS:— For Day Scholars in the Upper School — £4 per quarter In the Lower ditto — £2 per quarter Boarders— £so per annum. One quarter's notice required prior to the removal of a pupil.
