The barque Ensign proooeded on sea on the afternoon of Sunday last, with a fine northerly breeze, which she carried with her till she was lost to view in the distant east When she passed the Masonic Hotel, with royals and every available bit of muslin ' drawing, Bhe looked a perfect pioture. Tbe arrivals, since our last, have been only the Betsey, cutter, which arrived on Sunday night after a fine run from Auokland. On Tuesday next, 15th inst., the Lord Ashley may be expected from Auckland. She will sail for Wellington and southern provinces the same day, with the English mail.
