FIRST WOOL SHIP OF THE SEASON.

The Ensign was all ready for sea yesterday, and hove Bhort early in the day. She had not, however, sailed at sunset —the old superstition about going to sea on a Friday having probably been the cause of detention. Most likely, however, she will be away before this paper is in the hands of subscribers. We wish her a pleasant and speedy passage. ,
