TWTOTICE is hereby given that by Deed dated JL the Bth day of July, 1864, and made between Samuel Proctor, and John Rigby, of Pohui, in the Province of Hawke's Bay, sawyers, of the one part, and me, the undersigned Samuel Begg, of the other part ; the said Samuel Proctor and John Rigby, for th c considerations therein mentioned, bargained, sold, transferred, and set over unto me. the said Samuel Begg, all the timber, posts, rails, and planks, and all timber cut and worked up for any purpose whatever, belonging to them, and wheresoever the same might be lying and being : Save and except thereout all such timber cut and sawn upon any such section or sections of bush belonging to Major Whitmore. NOTICE is hereby given that possession haß been taken on behalf of Major Whitmore of all that sawn and split timber now being floated down the Mangaone and Tutaekuri Rivers, and at this date between the Rissington Station and Woodthorpe. A LARGE number of HORSES and CATTLE are at present trespassing on the Olrig Station, and the owners are requested to remove the same before the Ist of July.
