ELECTION NOTICE. IN PURSUANCE of the provisions of an. Act of the General . Assembly . of New Zealand, intituled "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, John Russell Duncan, Returning Officer -V Governor of New Zealand, an Election will be held for the return of TWO qualified persons to serve as Members of the Provincial Council for the said Electoral District, and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at Mr. Purvis Russell's Wool-shed, Waipukurau, on Saturday, the 17th day of January, 1863, and that the Poll (if neeeaßary) will be taken on Tuesday, the 20th day of January, 1863, and that I will declare the same on Wednesday, the 21st day of January, 1863.
