The Ferry Punt will be kept in constant repair by the Provincial Government. The Ferryman will be required to be in attendance from sunrise throughout the year to 9 o'clock p.m. in summer and 7 o'clock in winter, and will be authorised to collect tolls according to the undermentioned scale, viz. : — 8. d. T>ARTIES tendering for any of the abovemenJL tioned articles must specify in their tenders the. names of their sureties, who will be bound conjointly in a bond for a regular supply of the article or articles they may engage to furnish. It shall be distinctly understood that in all cases the articles are to be of the best description ; and should any bad or faulty articles be furnished by the contractor, no payment will be made for the same, and they will have to- take them back at their own expense, and supply a good article in their place ; failing which, the Provincial Government may order them to be procured at the expense of the contractor wherever they can be obtained.
