Ax the large sale of land held by Mr. Janisch on Thursday last, the following properties were disposed of: — The Napier Steam Mill, for £1450, Mr. 3. M. Stuart; Block of land adjoining the Mill, having 132 feet frontage to Shakespeare Road, £305, same purchaser. Block of land with house, having 66 feet frontage to Shakespeare Road, near the Union Bank of Australia, and lately in the occupation of Mr. J. Rose, for £250, Mr. S. G. Brandon ; House and land in Shakespeare Road occupied by Peter Searles, for £130, Dr. Grace; Lease of Shakespeare Bakery, with 11 years to run, for . £150, Mr. J. Doherty. Of the remaining properties put up, two cottages and land in Shakcspeave-road were bought in at £85; 330 acres near Puketapu, at 15s. per acre; and i acre lots 39 and 69, township of Havelock, t £20 each.
