ARRIVED. April 14— Esther, brigantine, 54 tons, Campbell, from Wellington, with 23 oases bottled ale, 15 cases bottled porter, Janisch; 2 wheels, 1 package shovels, 1 do. ironware, order; lton sugar, 3 casks rice, 15 boxes sperm candles, Janisch; 4200 ft. timber, Provincial Government; 628 ft. do., Blair; 20 sacks grass seed, order ; 1 keg gunpowder, Collector of Customs, Napier.—Master, agent. April 14 — Sea Serpent, brigantine, 60 tons, Enright, from "Wellington, with 60 casks bottled beer, 2 qr -casks brandy, 20 cases geneva, 20 do. cordial gin, Stuart, Kinross, & Co, ; 3 qr.-casks sherry, 5 qr.-casks rum, 20 cases sweetened gin, 2 cases sauces, l case mustard, 5 kegs nails, 1 case herrings, 20 bags salt, 2 cases starch, 1 bale shirts, 2 cases vestas, 2 cases lobsters, 1 do. salmon, 2 do. tea, 8 do. drapery, 4 do. jam, Maltby & Co. ; 20 kegs white lead, 12 pieces hardware, order ; 5 casks rum, V. Janisch ; 1000 posts,; St. Hill. Passengers,—Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher and 3in steerage.—Master, agent. CIiEAItED. April 12— Surprise, schooner, 60 tons, Braund, for Wellington, with 5 casks cement, 13 bales, 3 bags (3106 lbs) wool, Maltby & Co. ; 82 bales (22664 lbs.) wool, V. Janisch. — Maltby & Co., agents. April 14— Montezuma, brig, 136 tons, Mclntyre, for Auckland, in ballast. — Master, agent. The Caroline, gunboat, resumed her passage to Auckland on Sunday morning. The Esther left Wellington on the Ist inst., and has had a somewhat long passage, occasioned partly through her calling at Flat Point and Castle Point for the purpose of landing cargo. The Sea Serpent left Wellington on Saturday night last at 10 o'clock, and arrived ia porfc last evening at 6, making the passage in rather less than 48 hours. She was becalmed off Palliser during the greater part of Sunday. She brings the missing English mail for December.
