NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, by a Deed dated the fifth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-two, and made between Bernard Ferrers, of Napier, publican, of the first part ; William Maltbv, merchant, Alexander Kennedy, accountant, and James "Watt, merchant, all of Napier, of the second part ; and the several persons whose names and seals are thereunto affixed, being creditors of the said Bernard Ferrers, of the third part ; the said Bernard Ferrers did convey and assign all his real and personal estate (excepting all the stock-in-trade, goods, household furniture and effects, lately in the possession of him, the said Bernard Ferrers, at the hotel called the Golden Fleece, and which stock-in-trade, goods, and chattels, hereby excepted, were saved from the fire which recently destroyed the said Hotel), upon trust for the equal benefit of all the creditors of him, the said Bernard Ferrers, who should execute the said Deed within three calendar months next after the date hereof. Notice is further given that the said Deed was executed by the said Bernard Ferrers, "William Maltby, and James "Watt, on the fifth day of April instant, and by the said Alexander Kennedy on the seventh day of April instant, and the execution thereof by all the said parties was attested by John Nathaniel "Wilson, of Napier, solicitor. The said Deed lies at the office of the undersigned for execution by the creditors of the said Bernard Ferrers. Dated this seventh day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-two. J. N.
