For horses that have started during this meeting and not won a race. Post entrance. Entries to be made immediately after the Welter Stakes. To be handicapped by the stewards, or whom they may appoint. All disputes to be settled by the Stewards, whose decision will be final. Bell to ring for saddling each day at half-past eleven a.m., and to start at noon precisely. Three horses to start for every race, or the public money will not be given. Entries for all races, excepting the Maori race and Consolation Stakes to be made to the Stewards, at the Golden Fleece Hotel, before nine, o'clock on Friday, the 7th March, and to be publicly read the same evening. No horse to be entered for any of the above races, excepting the Maori race, but by a subscriber of two guineas to the Fund. In every race the second horse to save his stakes. Applications for erecting booths on the course to be made to the Stewards on the 27th day of February, at the Golden Fleece Hotel, at 8 o'clock p.m., accompanied by a fee of £3 3s. for the license, which will be returned if the application be refused.
