N A PI E R R A C E S, 18 60. AT A PUBLIC MEETING held at tho Golden ; Eleece Hotel, 'on Thursday, 3rd November, 1859, J. B. Ferguson Esq., in the Chair, it was resolved : — 1. That tho race .meeting for iB6O be held at . Greeji Meadows, on the ground lent by Mr. Tiffen for tne purpose. . _ 2. That the races take place ion Wednesday the 24th, and' Thursday the 25tjh.of February 1860. 3. That tho following gentlemen be appointed officers, viz : — • Stewabds — Messrs. J. B Ferguson, Wm. All entries to be publicly read the same evening. 7. Three horses to start for every race, or the public money will not be given.
