Sec, Mr. Ferrers, under sealed cover, at the Golden Fleece Hotel, before 8 o'clock p.m., on 24th February next, (at same time stating colors of riders, &c), excepting for horses the owners hon resident in the province, who will be allowed to pay their entrance money to the Hon. Sec, two days previous to the races. Entries to be read in the G-olden Fleece Hotel same evening of day of entry. Eules of the Auckland Eace Club to be adhered to. The above are to be the amount of prizes, provided the subscriptions and entry list justify them ; if not a proportionate reduction to be made.
