OKAIAWA
PERSONAL AND GENERAL The fortnightly’ parade of the Okaiawa platoon was held in the gymnasium. Rifle drill, bayonet fighting and Lewis gun work were carried out under the supervision of Sergeant-Alajor Rowe. Two new recruits were enrolled. Alessrs. J. Walker and B. Houlahan left to-day to attend a N.C.O. camp at New Plymouth. Airs Struthers has returned from New Plymouth. Aliss Alargaret Barclay is spending her school vocation with her parents, Mr and Airs J. C. Barclay. Aliss AlcKay has returned from New Plymouth and is the guest of Air and Airs Barclay, senr. Aliss D. Corbett is spending a few days at Stratford and is the guest ol Air and Mrs Alorrison. Air J. E. Aleuli and family’ left during the week for Auckland and Tauranga. Aliss R. Beauchamp is spending the school vacation with her parents at Hawera: Air Christiansen leaves on Saturday :o reside in Auckland. Air L. Retter left this morning on a motor tour of the Auckland and Ham. ilton districts.
