HOCKEY TEAM ON TOUR
TARANAKI WINS TWO MATCHES. DEFEAT OF FEILDING AND BUSH. The Taranaki women’s representative hockey which left on tour on Wednesday' morning by 7 the southbound express, play'ed Feilding at Victoria Park in the afternoon and won by four goals to one. At Eketahuna yesterday' the Taranakf feam played Bush and won by one goal to nil. Bush is one of the strongest teams in the North Island and the game was fast and interesting. The team will play matches in the Hawke’s Bay and will spend the weekend at Napier. Next week the party will play' matches as far soutlh as Otaki. In a letter to her parents, Miss Gwen Bernard, the only Hawera representative, states that all the members of the team were well and thoroughly enjoying the trip. The team is billeted in each town and generous hospitality extended to it by residents.
