EVERYTHING GOING SMOOTHLY
CONFERENCE OF DEMOCRATS POSSIBLE STATEMENT TO-MORROW. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, To-day. Everything is going smoothly, and the spirit of sweet reasonableness is prevailing said Mr A. E. Davy, Dominion organiser of the Democratic Party, when interviewed at the luncheon adjournment of the conference. He indicated' the conference would he sitting this afternoon and evening and a statement would possibly be issued to-morrow. Mr T. C. A. Hislop presided again to-day. Dr. Adams (Wanganui) is deputy-chairman.
