TO .SAFEGUARD SKIERS. ■Ski-ing is probably the most exhilarating sport obtainable in NewZealand, but its thrills cannot be enjoyed without' risking certain dangers. One of the risks attendant upon ski-ing was made evident to some visitors to Arthurs Pass who were using a hut frequently used by skhing parties after their return from the higher altitudes. On the window ledge in this hut was noticed a large bottle of Baxter’s Lung Preserver, which was evidently used to ward off dangerous chills which are likely to be contracted after becoming wet through. There is no doubt that after running the risk of getting a cold that a brisk rub-down, a change of clothes; and a dose of “Baxter’s” are the best precautionary measures. Once a cold is established! however, it is most important to get rid of it as soon as possible to prevent development of bronchitis or pneumonia. The sufferer should keep warm' and take “Baxter's” until recovery is complete. So great, is the demand for “Baxter’s” that it. is obtainable .everywhere in New Zealand.
