DRIVER NOT GUILTY
ALLEGATION OF NEGLIGENCE. MAN DIES OF INJURIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMARU, July 24. After a retirement of three hours 26 minutes tlie jury returned a verdict of not guilty in a case in which James Colquhoun Kay was charged with negligently driving a, car in Esk Valley on November 16 last, thereby causing the death of Thomas Watson Waite. The case was called at the previous session and the grand jury returned no bill.
