LOYAL UNION LODGE

MANCHESTER UNITY 1.0.0. F. The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Union Lodge, Manchester Unity of Oddfellows, was held in the Carlton rooms at Ilawera last Tuesday evening, when N.G. Sister E. S. Tippett presided. There was a good attendance of members and visitors. One new member was proposed for membership. Sister Tippett reported on sick members. It was decided by the lodge to accept an invitation from the Druids’ Lodge to a social evening, members to meet at the Carlton at 7.45 p.m. next onday. Arrangements were left in the hagnds of P.G. Bro. C. Dingle. An interesting lecture was given by a Past Grand on the human body, and after the close of lodge supper was served by the ladies. Ping-pong games followed.
