ARARATA DAIRY CO3IPANY. RETIRING DIRECTORS ELECTED. Reviewing the past season’s operations at to-day’s annual meeting in Hawera of shareholders of the Ararata Dairy Company Mr T. A. Winks (chairman of oirectors) said that the cheese market nad l>een most disappointing. With better trade conditions m Great Britain, however, there were reasonable grounds to hope for a. gradual return to a more payable price for dairy produce. He reported that the company’s factory had been practically rebuilt and the new season would commence with buildings and plant equal to the most up-to-date in the province. The retiring directors, 3fessrs R. Buckley and T. A. Winks, were reelected unopposed. 31r H. A. Lennon was re-appointed auditor.

Appreciation was expressed of the work of the factory staff and secretary 'Mr A. K. Fyson) and a vote of thanks to them for their services was carried by acclamation. At a subsequent meeting of directors 3lr Winks was re-elected chairman.
