STEAMERS IN COLLISION
TWO BADLY DAMAGED. ONE TOWED TO PORT. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright}. Received 11 a.m. to day. SAN FRANCISCO, July 24. With a hole 20 feet deep amidships oil the starboard side, the steamer Calmar, which (collided "with the steamer Koryu Maru ten miles south of the San Francisco lightship at 9.2 p.m., Pacific standard time, was towed here by the coastguard cutter Shawnee and two tugs. The Koryu Maru followed under her own steam, appearing badly stove-in, la.bout the bow. The collision occurred in dense fog. Both crews remained aboard.
