AGRARIAN UPRISING
GOVERNOR! LOSES OFFICE. GENERAL “CLEANING OUT.” (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright) MEXICO CITY, July 23. A popular agrarian uprising has forced Senor Manuel Lastrn, Governor of the State of Tabasco, out of oflioo and threatened the position of Dr. Rafail Villareal, Governor of Tamaulipas. The uprising is regarded as a general cleaning out of governors to rid the country of the last traces of the power of ‘(General Cnlles, Mexico s strong man for eight years until ho lost the political combat with President Cardenas a month ago.
