Sydney’s champion hurdler, Green Sea, established a. race record at Rosehill to-day when lie carried 13.12 to victory in the Brush Hurdles, in which he conceded each of his three opponents over four stone. Green Sea, who covered the mile and a half in 2.43, received a wonderful ovation from the crowd. Dual Ratio comfortably won the Maiden Handicap for three and four-year-oids, in, which 25 started, including Viking, who was unplaced. Mannnui and Cavalcade were unplaced in the Flying Welter, Limbohm, Coekpen and Samovar were unplaced in the Rosehill Handicap, and Limoux was fourth in the Carlingford Mile. Green Sea’s latest performance eclipses his feat of July 8 when he carried 13.8 to victory in the Second Hurdles at the A.J.C. meeting at Randwick.
