TENNIS BALL

Function at Ohangai ‘ 'the committee of the Ohangai Tennis Club, under the supervision of Aliss L. Elmes (secretary), was well rewarded 'for their efforts on Monday evening, when the club held a ball in aid of club funds. The hall was crowded and Hooker’s Alerrymakers’ Orchestra provided music for dancing. AH S. Gordon gave several musical items, including a song, “Maori Alaiden,” and an encore, which was appreciated by all. Wallace, Alonte Carlo waltz, Air H. Elmes and Miss M. Brown, lucky door ticket, Aliss H. Grace and Air P. AfcCarty. A cake competition was held and Afr AI. Kitney won.
