BIBLE CLASS SOCIAL. (From Our Own Correspondent). A very successful Bible Class social was held at To lviri on Friday evening when visitors were present from Opunake, Auron. iPiiinnia and Riverlea. Items were contributed by Airs \\ ■eatlierliead (Opunake), song, “A Hundred Pipers”; Air W. R. Boyd song, “When You Como Home”; ALaster \\ . Holland, “The Spring Song” and “Play to Ale Gipsy”; and Air Joe Duckett, recitations, “The Inspector” and “Dad’s White Butterfly.” Mrs C. Clare (Opunake) led community singing and Aliss Carmichael and Air W. Coxhead and Mrs L. Nicliolls played for games and musical competitions. A charade was staged by Misses AI. Duckett and AI. Coxhead and Alessrs P. and J. .Duckett and D. Coxhead, and competition winners were Aliss A. G. AlcLollan and Mr W. R. Boyd (musical islands) and j\lr A. W. Coxhead (hat-trimming), judged by Alcsdames JN'iccolls and Kedgle.v. The programme was in the hands of Aliss Myrtle Coxhead and Air W. A. Hughes, and supper was '’supplied and served, by members of the Bible Class, assister by the Ladies’ Guild.

The Rev. G. Wood (leader) thanked all for their attendance aud expressed bis pleasure that so many members of other classes and visitors were present. Ho also referred to the help of Air R. Hughson, of Opunake. Air Hughson replied, stud in thanking the Bible Class 101" its invitation and a pleasant evening, extended a welcome to all at a similar function, in Opunnico, ! GENERAL NOTES.
