Henry Edwards, the director, insisted on the helicopter’s descent, being tested once again before Miss Balfour entered it. About 200 “extras” were on the set, hut they were cleared to one side for the trial “flight,” a. most fortunate; move, for, as Betty also stepped off the set, t|io helicopter clashed to the floor just missing the star and the onlookers.
