TO LEAVE ON JULY 31. GOVERNOR TO ENTERTAIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 26. The New Zealand Rugby team will sail from Wellington for its tour of Great Britain at daybreak on Wednesday, July 31. The team will assemble at Wellington on the Alonday and will be entertained at ia dinner by the New Zealand Union on Tuesday evening. Announcements to this effect were made by the chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Union, Air S. S. Dean, at to-night’s meeting. Air Dean stated that tho Governor-General, Viscount Galway, had expressed the wish to entertain the team at Government Souse before its
departure. It is possible that a civic farewell will also be accorded the All Blacks. The New South Wales Rugby Union wrote making a strong plea that the Alaori team should agree to play the opening match of the Australian tour at Tsewcastle.
