GOLD MINERS ON STRIKE
POSSIBLE RETURN TO WORK (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, June 20. Rig River miners after a stoppage of four weeks through a wages dispute will on Sunday consider a new offer which the company made at a conference yesterday. Acceptance of the terms by the men is expected. The Big River mine is one of the largest gold mines on the West Coast and is situated between Reefton and Grevmoutli.
