rIUNCE OF WALES CEP (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, June 14. The Takitimu team for the Prince of Wales Cup match against the South Island Maoris at Gisborne on June 22 is:— Full-back: G. Nepia (East Coast). Three-quarters: W. McKinley (Poverty Bay), E. Howell (Bay of Plenty), C. Smith (Hawke’s Bay).

Five-eighths: P. Ivaua (Poverty Bay), J. C. Reedy (East Coast). Half-back: Harrison (East Coast).

Front row: Iv. Reedy (East Coast), J. T. Ngaio (Hawke’s Bay), J. Kershaw (East Coast).

Middle: H. Mat air a (Hawke’s Bay), T. Whit cl ev (Bay of Plenty), P. Smith (Hawke’s Bay), T. Reid (Hawke’s Bay).

Back row: W. Popilii (Bay of Plenty) B. Rogers (Poverty Bay). Reserves: J. Greening (Hawke’s Bay), M. Rika (Hawke’s Bay), T. Wi Repa (East Coast), P. Ivulia- (East Coast), P. Goldsmith (East Coast), U. Pepere (East Coast), E. Mueau (Poverty Bay). The Maori team for Australia will be clioscn after the match.

TAINUI CUP MATCH. A challenge has been issued by the Taranaki Maoris for the Tainui Rugby Cup, the holders of which are the East Coast Maoris, and the match will he played at Gisborne on June 24. The cu,p was won from Taranaki by the Arawas several years ago, and since then the Arawas lost it to East Coast.
