NEGLIGENT DRIVING CHARGE. NAPIER SUPREME COURT TRIAL (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS, .Juno 13. Arising out of an accident on April 24, in which a cyclist, Bruce Summersby, was killed as a result ol a collision with a car driven by John Sylvester Pender, Pender was to-day committed for trial at the Supreme Court at Napier on a charge of recklessly driving a motor vehicle, thereby causing the death ol' Summersby. ' Evidence was given that when Summersby was riding with his companion a car came towards them and an instant later Pender’s car came up behind them and struck Supimcrsby.
