PHYSICAL CULTURE (Letter No. 72.) Raglan, April 23, 1035. Dear Mr. Jarrett, — Two and a-half years ago I came to you a wreck. I had had many abdominal operations and still was no better. The doctors said that it was useless operating any more as my body would not stand it and if I had any more anaesthetic I would die under it. I came to you and you put me on to a few simple exercises and after a few months I had increased my chest expansion quite considerably. I then went to another doctor and he discovered that I had hydatids. He operated twice within ten days and took over three pints of fluid and 10 or 12 cysts away from my liver. I used your exercises while the draining -was taking place and again increased my' chest measurement, besides cutting a month or two off the time usually taken in such eases. I have two businesses here and it calls for long hours and hard work under trying conditions, but I manage to keep myself fit and well with a few simple breathing exercises each day. Thanking you, I remain, yours faithfully, A. G. S. CONSULTATION FREE. HIGHEST MEDICAL REFERENCES. Call or Write for Appointment. Full particulars, terms, etc., from — R. 0.
