THREE SERIOUS ACCIDENTS
MISHAPS AT WELLINGTON' MAN’S EIGHT LEG SEVERED. ' (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, 23. ‘ With his right leg severe-cl a short distance above the ankle and a compound, .fracture liirther up tlie limb/ Air R.- Edsor, 10 Cuba. Street, Petoiie, hairdresser, was taken to hospital. The injuries were received when Mr Edsor, driving a .motor-cycle and side-car, became ' involved in a collision with a motor-car at me corner of Raricliviek Road and White’s' Line, Moefa, at about 4.30 p.m. Knocked down by a tram in Willis Street, about JSJi S p.m., Mr E. Thomas, gardener, residing at Day’s Eay, received concussion , and a wound to. his scalp.
Colliding with aftother cyclist .travelling in the opposite direction, Miss E. Jackson, 21 Selwyn Terrace, a. domestic, received lacerations to her scalp, abrasions to her neck and concussion when she was thrown front her machine when riding along the cycle track on the Hutt Road about half a mile on the Petone side of Ngahauranga, _ All the injured were taken to hospital'by the'Free Ambulance.
