GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS
MANAWATU TOURNEY A. E. EKSTEDT THE WINNER (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., April 13. A. E. Ekstedt won the Manawatu Easter golf tournament, defeating tO. H’. Williams, I and 3. The Wellington provincial golf championship was won at Heretaunga to-day by J. P. Hornabrook (Masterton), who beat S. M. Watson 3 and 1 in the final. In the semi-finals Hornabrook beat Silk 4 and 2 and Watson beat Jack Black at the 19th.
In the final of the Auckland provincial golf championship to-day B. G. Thomson (Auckland) beat B. H. Menzies (Auckland) two up.
