Coleman’s guest. Miss Betty Powdrell and Miss Nancy Duckworth left by car last Friday to spend a holiday in Eotoiua. j Mr and Mrs W. Thorpe, of Wellington, have returned after spending a few days at Dawson Falls. Mr and Mrs Faletta, of Melbourne, left for the south to-day after spending several days at Dawson Falls. Mrs E. Mcßeth and her daughter, ;Mrs Short, were visitors to Hawera for the Coleman-Hawken wedding and returned to .Foilding on Sunday. -Mrs C. Drew and her daughter, Miss Merle ,Adamson, returned on Saturday night after paying a brief visit to jiataroa, near Taihape. Mrs T. W. Ogle spent the long weekend in New Plymouth, where she was the guest of her mother, Mrs Bichards. Mrs G. M. de Bath Brandon, Papatoetoc, Auckland, returned yesterday after Being the guest of her sister, Mrs A. Coleman, .for the Coleman-Hawken wedding. Miss Nancy Nowell, who has been spending a fortnight with her parents, Mr and Mrs V. Now-ell, at The Lakes, leaves on her return to Auckland tomorrow. Miss Patricia France, who has been Mrs L. Hamilton’s guest at Manutalii, and who was a bridesmaid at the Cole-man-Hawken wedding last week, returned to Auckland on Sunday.
