SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING (From Our Own Correspondent). Tile monthly meeting of the school committee took place in the school on Thursday evening. There were present Messrs T. J. Cox'll ead (chairman),! R. W. Clements, C. R. Wenryss, F. Tindle and Geo. Saved (secretary). The headmistress (Miss M, E. Taylor) reported that four children had left owing to a family leaving the district, and the roll number was now down to- 37. Several pupils attended the dental clinic at Eltham on Monday for treatment. The hedges had been cut and Mr Syme, the agricultural inspector, had visited the school last week and reported favourably cn tbe appearance of tlie grounds. !
