ASSISTANCE FOR AEROPLANES
GOVERNMENT BUYS SPEEDBOAT. TUMOR SEA PATROL. (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph Copyright] Received noon to-day. CANBERRA, To-day. The Minister of Defence, Mr Parkhill, announced that the Government has decided to purchase a speedboat for the purpose of rendering assistance in case' of emergency to the trans-Timor Sea air mail aeroplanes. The boat will have a speed of -5 knots and a range of six hundred miles. It will be fitted with wireless and a powerful searchlight.
