ARREST MADE AT BLUFF
ALLEGED MELBOURNE OFFENCE. EXTRADITION ORDER GRANTED. (By Telegraph —Association.) / INVERCARGILL, March 7. An extradition order was granted in the Magistrate's Court this morning on the application of Detective-Ser-geant O’Keefe, if Melbourne, against Norman Frederick Putt, aged 35, married, charged with converting a car to his own use at Melbourne.
Accused, who was arrested at Bluff on the arrival of the Maheno on her last trip, raised no objection to the order, but the magistrate refused .to grant bail. Putt is sailing on the Wanganella from Wellington next week for Australia.
