SHAKEN BY EARTHQUAKE
TREMORS IN NORTHERN INDIA. PEOPLE RUSH TO OPEN SPACES. [Tinitad Bzem Association—By E3oc*rlo Telegraph Copyright.) ' Received 1.30 p.m. to-day. CALCUTTA, March 0. A large area in Northern India was shaken from midnight to four in the morning by severe earthquake shocks. The epicentre is believed to be in Western Nepal. Tremors were especially severe at Delhi and the neighbourhood. People rushed into open spaces. A few houses collapsed, slightly injuring several, but so far' no extensive -damage is reported.
