Gold Worth £20,000 Stolen
Three Boxes Disappear From the Croydon Aerodrome VANISHED FROM STRONGROOM 'United Press Association—By Electric lelegrapb Copyright. Received 11 a.m. to-day. LONDON, March 6. Gold to the value of £20,000 was delivered at Croydon aerodrome Last night for despatch to the Continent and deposited in a strongroom, but when the strongroom -was opened to-day the gold had vanished. Three boxes were stolen. The first contained 6000 sovereigns, the second gold bars and the third American gold dollars.
