LOYAL UNION LODGE The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Union Lodge, Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows, was held at Hawera on Tuesday. N.G. Bro. A. J. Clement presided over a good attendance of local members and approximately 80 visiting members representing other lodges throughout Taranaki. The officers were judged for* the Taranaki ritual competition and a high standard urns attained. The district officers, Bros. H. A. Bennett, D.G.M., I. Sherson, D.D.G.M., S. Bolton (treasurer) and N. B. Bellringer (district secretary) paid their annual visit and each gave an interesting address concerning the’ Manchester Unity and friendly societies in general. Supper was served by the social committee.
