TRANSMITTER AT WELLINGTON. POWER OF CO KILOWATTS. (by leTpgTapn- "Frees Association.! WELLINGTON, March 5. Tho Now Zealand Broadcasting Board announces that tenders have been called for a- national transmitter to be erected within 20 miles of Wellington with a power of 60 Kilowatts. Tenders close early in June. The station should be operating about a year from that time. It will be possible to hear the proposed station by day or night all over the Dominion.
